Message	be a better alternative? I have always heard/read that a higher octane gas will produce fewer HC's. My idle HC went from 245 to 210 after the fuel and timing adjustment. It was my understanding that the higher octane fuels burn more efficiently, with less being wasted, thus less HC's being produced.
